UPDATE ABOUT EARLS BARTON & PENVALE PARK MEDICAL CENTRE

Earlier this year, we wrote to advise you that due to a number of issues that were identified during the procurement process that needed to be addressed, Northamptonshire ICB had taken the difficult decision to abandon the original procurement for Earls Barton and Penvale Park Medical Centre.

We are writing to advise you that we are moving forward with a second procurement exercise for Earls Barton and Penvale Medical Centre, which is due to commence over the summer. Following careful consideration, we have decided to undertake separate procurements for Earls Barton Medical Centre and Penvale Park Medical Centre. Please feel reassured our intention is still to secure a long-term provider or providers for both sites.

Albany House, the caretaker practice, will remain in place until a new provider can be appointed and you will still be able to access the full range of General Practice services you normally would with services being delivered from the same locations.
